Hello, we found this amazing artist who is using recycled tires to make sculptures while making art more eco-friendly and we thought we'd like to share!
While most artists have to spend money on their materials, Blake McFarland doesn't have this problem – he sculpts animals from recycled tires.
"This material is just abundant everywhere," Blake says. He uses about 100-400 tires for an average sculpture and it takes him up to a month to complete it.
Blake loves the fact that tire sculpture art is not only visually appealing, but also eco-friendly. This is one of the main reasons why he picked tires as his medium.
If you're not inspired already, take a look at some of Blake's other sculptures!
